This is one of the largest film festivals in West Africa and the third largest in Africa. AFRIFF attracts, filmmakers, movie lovers, and distributors from all over Africa.

Queens College

The messaging of Awani is for all women including the youth. Awani partnered with Zonta to host a screening at Queen’s College, Lagos to a class of 70 girls.

Afrika film festival Belgium and the conferment of our first prize!

The Afrika film festival is the oldest festival in Europe dedicated to African cinema and it was an honour to be part of this festival more so we won a UNESCO prize. This included a cash prize and our film being translated to French and Dutch and distribution on Belgian television.
